The CharroBoys are releasing two more episodes before taking a break. With the new school year coming up for the both of us, we’re going to be focusing on some new things. We also get into being happy with yourself, Sammy uses a sleep machine for his sleep apnea, it working so well he was late, playing a gig at the town in the movie Twisters, and playing a risky el mono de alambre at a party. Sammy has never been more awake 👀

Ciento Treinta y Siete - Viva Quien Sabe Beber

The CharroBoys recorded a little late this week but we still poppin'. We get into some stuff that happened this week like staying at the planta til three in the morning, Don Miguel being on vacation, Sammy's body giving up on him, and taking care of your body as a mariachi. We also talk about our listeners' longest, toughest gigs. Remember kids, the older you get the more your body turns on a check engine light.

The CharroBoys are back after a couple of weeks. They talk about time off, Sammy visiting Mexico and having no water, and our first time in 10 years going to Albuquerque Mariachi Spectacular Mariachi Conference. We get into climbing mountains, exploring the city, and answering the question if we're interested in competing next year. Hmmmmmmm.

Ciento Treinta y Cinco - Free Willie (Conversations with Legends ft. Willie Acuña)

The CharroBoys sit down with friend of the podcast Willie Acuña, harpist for Mariachi Sol de Mexico. They get into it with his upbringing, his love for jarocho music, which BBQ is the best, harp implementation in school and professional groups, and his experience making it into a world-renowned mariachi group. This episode has been a long time coming, thanks Willie.

The CharroBoys were busy last week doing side quests. We get into Victor opening for Mariachi Sol de Mexico and taking performance enhancers before the show. Also Sammy goes viral playing late 90s rock at an MLB game and then playing with Gerardo Ortiz. It was also Guerra de Los Marriachis at the planta this week. Come listen! 🎧

The CharroBoys braved the severe thunderstorms and tornadoes to bring you this episode. Since it's graduation season, we look back at the times when life was much simpler. We get into career choices, figuring out what to do with the rest of our lives, and also passing up storm chasers on the way to a gig. We ain't scared of no naders.

The CharroBoys are beat down after a long Mother’s Day weekend. We get into being exhausted after a rainy Dia de Las Madres, playing at a friend’s grad party, client’s asking for depressing ass rep, and losing the keys to the van. Nobody hit us up for a couple days 😴

The CharroBoys get back to it after 5 de Mayo weekend. A super busy week for most working mariachis, the holiday usually provides steady work. We get into the holiday in Mexico, playing at the fanciest restaurant we’ve ever seen, and hear your experiences at the 5 de drinko gigs.
